• ओ- सील मध्ये 2% ऑर्थो सिलिसिक अॅसिड म्हणजेच पिकाला लागणारा सिलिकॉनचा उपलब्ध अवस्थेतील स्त्रोत आहे. 
• वनस्पती सिलिकॉनचा वापर फक्‍त सिलिसिक ऍसिडच्या (Silicic acid) रूपातच चांगल्याप्रकारे करतात.
• सिलिकॉन पानांचा आकार वाढवते त्यामुळे प्रकाशसंश्लेषण क्रियेचा वेग वाढतो व अन्न निर्मिती मोठ्या प्रमाणात होण्यास मदत होते.
